Memorable Weekend

Driving to Moab for the 3rd time this year. We really do like to mix it up a bit, but it just worked out this way......and we are so glad it did. It was GREAT!! This is the big group of crazies we found out on the Colorado River. It was pretty smooth river with a whole lot of eddies that kept us working.

This same weekend Cam's sister and her husband's family rafted Cataract Canyon 3 or so day trip and didn't have such a smooth time. They flipped the J-Rigg and had a few scarey incodences, but they all came out OK, except maybe a little PTSD. We're glad they were all OK.

Done with soccer

Well soccer is done. It's pretty fun coaching these cute little punks. They are great. I missed everyone of Wyatt's games because his and Landon's were at the same time every time.

Not to mention I missed a few of Landon's as well. Steve B. sub coached for me. That was nice of him and Suz to do. They won most games from what I heard.
I realized this is why. He shoved them all into the goal so that way when they passed it to eachother it was already a goal. Smart thinking Steve. Thanks again!!

Dry Creek to Bob Sled

If you could only do ONE thing for the rest of your life (excluding you know what) what would it be? I'll give you a hint of mine below. . . This is one of the Wasatch Front's most exhilarating rides. OK, one of probably 20. These photos don't show the SWEETEST part, but that's because it's too SWEET to stop for a photo shoot.
Cam and the old trusty hardtailed Caloi, made straight out of the heart of Brazil. Going on year 10, like an old dog that never fails to sniff your ...
You know the old water tube slides, when they had water blarring down, when you could make a train, and go down when you wanted, as fast as you wanted, and with as many or few people as you wanted, you could go feet first, head first, or spin around the whole way down?? Well, that's what this ride is like.

Front Yard

We were doing yard work in the front yard, I was working in the flowers. I looked over towards the porch and there were these flowers just sitting there. It took a minute to register where they came from. My boys usually end up picking my flowers out of my flower gardens to give to me, but these were too organized to be that. I guess I was too enthrawled in my work to even notice a delivery person bring them and put them there as I was right there. Thanks Cam.

Salt Lake City Recital Hall

We were lucky enough to catch Scott Tennant at Salt Lake City Recital Hall this Friday. His classical guitar repertoire was refreshing as were his interpretations of earlier music to create his own unique genre. He was having a bit of trouble with his "B" string that evening, but he never missed a beat. http://www.scotttennant.com/ .
